Very Low-Carb, Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Super tasty and super healthy

These are the best low carb, gluten free chocolate chip cookies, ever.

This recipe uses almond flour which can be made at home for very low cost. It is a good choice for sweeter foods cause it is neutral.

This is so yummy and healthy for people with diabetes.

Yields 30 cookies


  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 bag 60% dark chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp flax seed
  • 1 cup non-hydrogenated margarine
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened peach puree
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine almond flour, chocolate chips and flax seed in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  4. Add one bowl of ingredients to the other and mix well.
  5. Scoop dough onto ungreased baking sheet, creating 30 cookies total.
  6. Bake each batch for 8-10 minutes.
